Describe your current job responsibilities….
My position is to assist clients in planning trips from weekend getaways, business travel and the vacation of a lifetime. After talking to you and finding out what your interests and what you want out of a vacation I would help you to pick a destination that meets those needs.  The responsibility that I have for all of my clients is to provide the same end-to-end customer service to everyone regardless of the cost or duration of their trip.

Why did you choose to get into the Travel business?
I chose to be a travel agent because it seemed like a fun thing to do, I enjoy traveling and working with people. 
A job position opened at an agency near me and I thought I would give it a try, as it turns out I love it!

What year did you start in the travel industry?
I started in the travel industry in 1988. I did take a break from it for awhile while my children were little and I wanted to be home with them.

What is the best vacation you have ever been on why?
My favorite vacation was a trip to London with a friend. I loved all the museums, the theaters the castles and the churches. We took a day trip to Bath and Stone Hedge. The town of Bath has a lot of history, nice cafes and shopping.  We spent 10 days there and it was a great time.

If you could plan your dream vacation what and where would it be?
I would like to travel with my husband and kids one last time before they move on with their own lives. Since we are big into the outdoors I think the Canadian Rockies and the Banff area would be awesome! 

What is your travel specialty? Why should I contact you to book my vacation?
Family vacations, family reunions or any group travel. I can help to coordinate the flights to arrive around the same time, get rooms together, arrange activities for you to do while you are on your vacation.

If you weren’t a Vacation Specialist at LaMacchia Travel what else would you be doing?
I wasn’t a vacation specialist I think that I would be doing something to work with children. Preschool or Kindergarten teacher would be a lot of fun, I love Kids!
