Describe your current job responsibilities…
My current job position at LaMacchia Travel is an outside sales agent. What is great about my position is that I’m able to work outside of the office at anytime. My goal is to provide the best service and help clients plan their perfect vacation.

Why did you choose to get into the Travel business?
Simple, I love traveling.  From sightseeing in exciting cities like Boston, Las Vegas, San Francisco, to soaking up the sun in Mexico, Hawaii or the Caribbean, I love to travel.  The travel industry was an obvious choice for me to work with my passion.

What year did you start in the travel industry?
I started in the travel business in 1998.

What is the best vacation you have ever been and why?
I have been fortunate enough to go on numerous vacations.  Each destination offered its own special memories. Probably my favorite was my first vacation with my girlfriends traveling on a Caribbean cruise when we graduated from high school. My honeymoon to St. Lucia was also a memorable trip.

If you could plan your dream vacation what and where would it be?
Ummmm, we talk about this all the time. We would love to do an escorted two-week tour of Italy and at the end of our vacation we would love to board a beautiful cruise ship and set sail to the Greek Isles.

What is your travel specialty? Why should I contact you to book my vacation?
This is so hard for me to just pick one specialty. I have been so fortunate to be able to travel that it is hard to pick one. I have escorted many trips to Las Vegas. I can go in and out of the casinos with my eyes closed. Second, I would have to say Mexico. Mexico is always a great place to travel to usually for a great price. We love the weather and overall enjoy the different activities. My last would be Hawaii. I’m confident in selling Hawaii and there are a couple of items that we would have done differently on my personal trip and then of course there are some ideas that I would suggest that might be a good idea to add. The reason I feel you should book your next vacation with me is because I’m an extremely honest person. I always listen to your ideas of what kind of vacation you would like and I give you the pros and cons of each place. I always want to give you enough information but yet not overwhelm you.

If you weren’t a Vacation Specialist at LaMacchia Travel, what else would you be doing?
Actually, my lifelong dream has been to be a travel agent and a teacher. About four years ago I accomplished both of my goals and am happy with my decisions. I’m a teacher and a travel agent. They are both an unbelievable rewarding occupation.
